What's this all about?
Clown of the Month was a phrase that's been knocked around our offices for some time. Along with Fool, Monkey and 'School Boy Errors' - Board of Shame.
It was only a matter of time, being a web team, that we moved our white board points system to a web version - and by some miracle www.clownofthemonth.com was available*.
* All the 3 letter domains have gone. How I know: a colleague's friend wrote a program to register the remaining 20!
What's the point?
There really isn't much. It'll while away some of those dull moments in the office, and it'll add a fun edge to stupid mistakes.
The aim behind of all of this is to get other people using it. Spread the word.
The aim of making this a fully fledge web tool, with all the security, invites and bells and whistles, is to get other people using it. Eventually I want to hear someone on the radio saying: "such and such is winning Clown of the Month".
